Community Essentials Pantry

The Community Essentials Pantry was created after a WCHR staff member identified a gap in the needs of the consumers we serve.  Although there was assistance programs for basic needs such as food and clothing, there was not a local program to assist clients with personal and household hygienic items.  this led to the development of the Community Essentials Pantry.  Funding for the pantry comes through grants and other donations both from businesses and individuals.

Items available are:

  • Toothbrushes/Toothpaste/Floss/Denture Adhesive
  • Hand soap/Body Wash
  • Shampoo/Conditioner

  • Feminine Hygiene Supplies (pads/tampons)

"The pantry is very helpful and provides quality items for those who are in need.  In April 2017, I experienced a loss of job and as a result was placed on unemployment.  My unemployment reached the maximum benefit and left me with no income.  The Community Essentials Pantry was how I received my basic day to day household items and for that I will forever be grateful." - Community Essentials Pantry Client.
